Your garage may be used as an extension to your home. You may find that you use it to store items that are in fact quite valuable such as gym equipment, camping equipment or a space TV set. If you only need to open the main garage door occasionally but want easy walking access in to the garage then you may want to choose a door that has a separate pedestrian entrance. This allows you easy access without having to fully open up the whole garage. This can also add to the security as you do not have to display to the whole world what you are storing in the garage.
