Long journey white fleet

When you get issued a white fleet vehicle ie mini bus, crew van, van from your company you will need to carry out some checks. You will be given a sheet with a check list that you need to go round and mark off or comment on. The list cover all parts off the vehicle like checking the oil, window wash, fuel, brake fluid plus any damaged marks on the body work of the vehicle.

If you fail to put these on the work sheet you could get charged for the damage off the vehicle. Also one you have finished with the vehicle you must fill in a closing down sheet which you state your mileage you will also often need to return the vehicle full off fuel. You may be given a fuel card by your company to allow you to fill this up before returning it. If you return the van dirty you will be also asked to clean the van or pay for it to be cleaned.
