Have you got a water leak on your car?

You may notice that you have a water leak on your vehicle simply by seeing a puddle of liquid under your car when it has been parked for a while or if it is quite bad, noticing your temperature gauge start to creep up.  

Sometimes your car will develop a slow leak which will require the water reservoir to be topped up every week or so and other times it will develop a sudden, fast water leak which needs attention immediately.  It can often be cause by a damaged radiator or damage to the pipes that lead in and out of the radiator.

You should never drive a car which you think has a major water leak too far as it could cause the engine to overheat and if that happens you could find that you damage the engine (which will often cost a lot more to repair or even make it unrepairable).

If it is only a slow water leak then you can add some radiator welding solution that will go around the cooling system of the car ad find where the leak is. This will often give you a temporary fix to the problem but over time the leak will become apparent again.
