With many of us being restricted to our homes on and off for the good part of a year, your car may of not covered half as many miles are it usually does. If you knew that you weren’t going to be using it must over the coming months, you may of decided to lock it away in the garage.
As lockdown restrictions are set to start to be eased over the next few months, it is likely that you will start to use the car again. It may be that you want to make that long trip to see a relative or that you want to be able to drive to the south coast for a much awaited holiday. If this is the case, it is a good idea to ensure that your car is in a good conditions before you set off. When a car has been parked up for a while, even in a garage, it can cause certain components to start to seize up. Having a full service on the car is a great way to ensue that all your levels are of and the oil / filters are replaced. If you recently had a service just before the pandemic then you may decide to choose to have an interim service instead which should be enough to get you going.
