Automatic or Manual?
You don’t always get the option of automatic or manual when you buy a car today, and most people will not be too bothered. But some people are, and it’s an important aspect of a vehicle. The fact is when you have an automatic, you’re no longer relied upon to change the gears, and it can feel quite strange if you have driven a stick shift your entire life.
The majority of new vehicles are automatics, and some people may only choose their vehicle on the gearbox. A manual car may at time be more fun to drive, but the developments over the past decade in automatic gearboxes means they’re just as fun to drive, and there’s immensely powerful.
Manual gearboxes may at some point in the future be fazed out, but if it means fewer problems, a smoother drive and faster speeds, then why does it matter? Many people may accept the fact that automatics are the future, but the life of manual vehicles is not over yet.
